I am a design historian, a curator, and an exhibition designer. I was born, raised, and educated in Paris, I lived in New York for ten years, and I am now based in Brussels. After earning a master’s degree in Industrial Design from ENSCI-Les Ateliers in Paris in 2007, I worked on fashion and design shows, developing extensive expertise in designing and producing exhibit projects. I also taught design history and wrote for magazines and institutions. I moved to New York in 2015, where I freelanced as an exhibition designer and a production manager for trade shows. In 2024, I enhanced my professional journey by completing a Master in Decorative Art, Design History, and Material Culture at the Bard Graduate Center.
Design and Operations
I have a deep knowledge of exhibition design and operations. I can oversee all the creative and operational aspects of a project, and I am committed to ensure project delivery that is efficient both in timing and budget. I have a full knowledge of bid packages, construction techniques, fabrication skills, materials, and project management. I collaborate with architects, graphic designers, scenic decorators, or any other partner who enables me to expand my services and capacities.
Research and Curation
I am specialized in twentieth-century design and furniture within their cultural context, with a focus collaborations and creative relationships; the erasure of women in design history; design and war; and speculative design. I wrote several articles for Strabic, a French online design magazine. I wrote my Master’s thesis on French American design Noémi Pernessin Raymond (1889-1980), and I designed the accompanying exhibition, the first solo exhibition ever showing Noémi’s contributions to twentieth-century design.
